Delete your account

You can delete your account on Dare Dating (an app developed by MAFLOMARIUS SRL) at any time, in the app or by e-mail. Deletion is permanent: the account cannot be recovered, and if you want to come back, you create a new one.

In the app

1. Open Dare and go to your profile (the first tab, at the top).
2. Tap App Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can no longer sign in, write to us at uppdare@gmail.com, with the subject “Account deletion”, and tell us:

• the phone number you signed up with;
• the first name on your profile.

To make sure it's you, we may ask you to confirm that the number belongs to you. We delete the account no later than 30 days after you confirm, and we reply by e-mail when it's done.

Before you delete

• If you only uninstall the app, your account stays and others can still see you. For it to disappear, it has to be deleted.
• If you just want a break, turn on Civil Mode: nobody sees you, you get no notifications and you lose nothing.
• If you want a copy of your data before deleting, write to us and we'll send it to you.

What we delete

• your profile, as others saw it in the deck and in searches;
• your profile photos and the selfies you sent with dares;
• your account data: phone number, the address of your linked Google account, date of birth and settings;
• your dares and conversations and everything you sent in them: messages, photos, voice messages, answers to games;
• your lists: favourites, people you skipped, blocks;
• the notification codes of your phones.

Conversations also disappear for the other participants, along with everything you sent in them.

What we keep and for how long

Anything you sent to someone before deletion that they copied, for example with a screenshot, is no longer in our hands.
